This morning, we went to Starbucks and met up with a friend. The boys got their favorite drink (steamed vanilla milk) and we enjoyed some “coffee talk”.
We then went to the river and threw rocks in the water. After that, we “hiked” on the trail by the river for a while. It is actually a pretty long hike, where the reward at the end is a waterfall. I am using this trail as a hiking trail to visit all summer, in the hopes of reaching the end by the end of summer.
After that, we went to another friend's house who lives on a farm. She made a nice lunch and the kids had a great time playing together. We ended up staying and playing there for three hours!
Grocery run and we are finally home!
It’s been so long since I’ve had a chance to visit. It sounds like you had a wonderful day. The hiking trail with a waterfall sounds gorgeous. Please post pictures when you make it to the end 🙂
OK, I’m going to finish catching up with you. Have a blessed weekend~Kelly
Hello! We live in NE Ohio. I’m not sure why it is so gloomy here. I think we get a lot of rain from Lake Erie. The southern and western parts of the state, even central, are not quite so wet. I pine for anywhere with sunshine LOL. My sister just came back from a 10 day vacation, alone with her husband, in Hawaii. ahhh…I can’t imagine that long in the sunshine or alone with Doug…

You commented on my entry about the Anglican church. Thanks for reading and commenting. I also appreciate your prayers! I’ll be posting as things progress – check back anytime. It is sad, you are right and scary that so many are being deceived by such lies. Kerry
Now that is my idea of a perfect summer day. It’s so good for the kids to be out enjoying creation ~ and good for our hearts too!
Thanks for your encouragement on my blog. I hope you enjoy your increased freedom w/scheduling.
Blessings on you!
