We completed the BFIAR “Going on a Bear Hunt”. After that, we went to Twin Falls State Park to hike a trail. The boys had a great time. Everyone we passed, 'A' would tell them that we are “going on a bear hunt.” We were able to walk 1/2 hour in and 1/2 hour back. We found some great spots for picnics.
Home for lunch (pita pizzas, yum!), then I dropped 'A' off for his first day at summer half day camp. It was easier for him than it was for me! He was playing outside and I watched him from the inside. I went out and he said, “why are you still here, mom?”
I’m always happy to share a good book. 🙂 Being a transplant to this area from the Rocky Mountains and their foothills, I’ve had to educate myself on these matters.
Your blog is so interesting! I’m eagerly awaiting the camp at home site now, and have already visited the WA museum Association site. Love those museums!
Happy blogging! 🙂
Love your site. Thanks for visiting mine. I don’t know how to get my pictures small enough for my blog. How do you do it??
Looks like you and your boys are doing some really fun things. That’s awesome. We just read the Child’s Prayer book yesterday. I didn’t realize that it’s a Five in a Row book.
Also, I am working on getting a MOPS at our church. I had this vision for it last year and our pastor really wants it now, but not enough ladies have stepped up to lead it, so there is only like 2 or 3 ladies. Lots want to attend, but don’t want to lead. Slightly frustrating. But, I’m sure if the good Lord wants it to happen, it will.
JOY abundant,

Don’t they realize all that we do? LOL, my dd6 floored me one day when after getting in trouble she said, “YOU DON’T LOVE ME!”
At first, I was so hurt. The second time she said it, I snapped out of it. “OF COURSE I LOVE YOU, YOU WOULDN’T BE IN TROUBLE IF I DIDN’T LOVE YOU.” I stumped her. Yea! for Mom!
They grow up so quickly…

Just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog and giving such a warm welcome. 🙂
Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. The support I have gotten has been such an encouragement to me. I will check out that site you listed, and see what I can find there. I’m looking into some other things too, but we may have a tentative plan. We’ll see what God provides…..grace to you!
Love, Kathy

Oh..the camp thing…so much harder on Mom than the kids~~
Here’s a hug for you! :o)

We loved Going On A Bear Hunt. The children memorized it, and today, years later, they love to say it together.
