Cute “A”isms

“A” is three and the cutest things come out of his mouth.  Here are two recent examples:

*”A” was attending a half day day camp and one day they were learning about the five senses.  The teacher gave the kids a tray of items.  Each child was to take an item and hold it.  She then went to each child and would ask, “if you used your eyes, what would this item looks like?, “if you used your ears, what would this item sound like?” etc.

Whe she got to “A”, she noticed that he had nothing.  When she asked him where his item was, he replied,

“It was a pickle.  I used the sense 'taste', and it was yummy!”*

*The day camp teacher gave “A' a piece of Double Bubble bubble gum to take home.  (We very rarely give the boys gum, and only let them have it when they are on a plane or train as a special treat.)  So, “A” asked if he could have it, and I said “yes”, but only after his martial arts class.  He would also have to share with his brother, “R”.

After martial arts, I divided the gum and gave the boys their piece.

Later, at home, I checked in with them to see if they still had their gum.  “A” replied: “well I swallowed mine, but I got more.”

I asked: “Where did you get more?”

“A” replied: “from “R's” mouth…”

Your second “A-ism” had me laughing so loud. My 7 yr old just asked why I was laughing and, after I read it to him, said, “EEEEEWWWWWW!!!” and ran away screaming. Your ‘A’ sounds too-cute….
