Genesis 12:1-5

Focus: Abraham left his home because God told him to.
Math Activity
I wrote each boy's name in capital letters. I had them spell out their names in a whisper, a shout, a low voice, high voice, etc.
I cut apart the letters and had the boys reassemble their names. 'A' was able to do his and his brothers easily. 'R' was able to say each letter, but could not reassemble them once mixed.
I taught the boys their telephone number. 'A' can recite it perfectly. I then wrote out the number and cut the numbers apart. 'A' was able to put the telephone number back together without assistance!
Letter Activity
I pulled out the 'C' flashcard and had them repeat it.
Bible Activity
I cut out three pictures of luggage and had the boys glue them onto the 'number three' page. (The luggage represents Abraham packing and leaving the city of Ur.)
