Library Lines – Below is a quote from a book.  Can you  guess what book this is from?
"They had driven over the crest of a hill.  Below them was a pond, looking almost like a river so long and winding was it.  A bridge spanned it midway and from there to its lower end, where an amber-hued belt of sand hill shut it in from the dark blue gulf beyond, the water was a glory of many shifting hues – the most spirtual shadings of crocus and rose and ethereal green, with other elusive tintings for which no name has ever been found……………….."

How did you copy this assigment to your blog? I got all stressed out last night trying to do it, and gave up. I don’t want to go back and forth, or write it all out…

I will post the Chicken Divan recipe for you tomorrow okay? I was scheduled to make it tonight, but my MIL changed my plans. She took my kids for the evening, so hubby and I are going to take advantage of it and go out for Sweetest Day, whenever it is! We’re going to my favorite Japanese Steakhouse….beats cooking Chicken Divan in my book! Though I do have a yummy recipe, and so easy peasy. You’ll love it….talk to you soon….

    Love, Kathy

The retreat I’m going on is with Maranatha Ministries and they do family retreats and other things like that. I’ve never been. I’m leaving in a few hours and I’m sure I’ll blog about it when I get back. I just think it’s awesome that there IS a retreat for homeschool moms, very cool!

Your blog looks awesome! I love these colors. ; )

Thanks for the encouraging words re: TWTM book…but now I have to ask, if it was such a profound read for you, then may I ask…why did you choose AO instead? : ) I have looked at AO soooo many times over the past year…but just feel better with the history/science/reading rotations of WTM.

Thank you for sharing your links.

I have seen many Starfall links and my DS actually spent quite a bit of time there today thanks to suggestions. What a great find.
