We had a playdate this morning with a neighbor.  I did not know her and this was a good opportunity to.  She has a four year old boy and two two year ole twin girls.  They played for an hour and shared lunch with us.

After that, I took the boys to Factoria Mall.  They had their pictures taken with Santa.  (It turned out sooooo cute!).  Then, we met up with some friends and went to the Children's Museum.  There are about six interactive exhibits that the boys enjoyed.  Half of the museum is devoted to water and all these different contraptions that create music with water and other fun “let's see what happens if we push this?”…

There is a cab of a semi-truck that the kids can sit in and pretend to drive.  For some reason, both of my boys are too afraid to go in it.  I think it's because it is too dark.

They both like to climb up the treehouse and look down on the moms waiting below.

I think that both 'A' and 'R's favorite exhibit is the music room.  Here, they can play with unique instruments and make alot of noise.

After a couple of hours, we all went to Red Robin for dinner (3 moms and six kids…).  Mervyn's also had a going out of business sale, and I was able to buy four big towels and four hand towels for $32.00!

    Greetings Leigh!

I read your comment and attempted to figure out how to add a friend to Washington

State Blog list. I am the second blog coordinator so the first Mom added the other friends. I hadn’t figured out how to add names when I first started the job. Thanks to your request, I figured it out quickly today! I’ve learned a lot since I started coordinating it. I’ll have to ask for some more WA State Friends now!

Your blog is always so beautiful and personalized, excellent job!

God bless your Merry Christmas with His joy!

Sounds like a wonderful museum. My kids would love something like that around here. I wondered if Mervyn’s was going out of business. I noticed an empty store near our mall last week, and I could have sworn it used to be a Mervyn’s. Too bad….I liked them. And….Red Robin is one of my MOST favorited restaurants. I just love their Bleu Ribbon burger. Every time I eat it I end up with stomach problems, but I don’t care because it’s SO good! Hope you’re having a good week this week. One more day and it’s the weekend!

We used to have a Children’s Museum in Little rock, but they closed down a few years ago. The Museum of Discovery has a lot of their exhibits, for some reason. I guess they were donated to them, or something.

We went to a field trip yesterday to the Arkansas Arts Museum, and it was pretty neat! We went ther to see a “toy” exhibit, which were really works of art that sort of resembled toys. After that, the tour guide showed us their permanent collection, to include two works on permanent loan from a local wealthy family: a Monet & a Picasso! I couldn’t believe it! I never thought I would ever see even one of those in person.
