Bible Story
2 Kings 6:8-10, 15-17
Children’s Bible-Elisha watches the angels
Devotional Activity
1 John 3:18 "My little children, let us not not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth."
We read a story that accompanied this verse and talked about what loving in deed and in truth means.
(To love in deed means that we show our love by the things we do. To love in truth means that we show our love the way God tells us to in His Word.)
Letter Activity
The boys traced the letter ‘M’ with their fingers on the flashcard.
Bible Activity
We read scriptures about angels:
Psalms 103:20-21
Hebrews 1:14
Psalms 91:11-12
Revelation 19:9-10
We learned that God created the angels, like He created us.
We should never pray to or worship angels.
God’s angels obey God and do His will.
God’s angels are His helpers and He sends them to watch over us and help us.
Thanks for your comment on my blog. I love doing the Beth Moore Studies. I noticed you are reading about angels so I thought I'd share with you what I read today in my quiet time about angels. As I read Ephesians 3:10 I noticed the footnote said that angels are learning about God's wisdom as they watch His grace working in us. God Bless You!
