Today, we went to Farrel McWhirter Park  in Redmond.  It is an old homestead that is now a park.

The boys had a great time running in the field.  We must have been close to swallows nests, because they were swooping around the boys.  The kids loved playing with them.  The blurry spot obove ‘R’ is a bird…

This is a lookout that looked like a spaceship.  the kids enjoyed running in it.

‘C1,2,3 ‘A’ and ‘R’

We saw a variety of animals…

TURKEY…

CHICKENS and a ROOSTER…

RABBITS…(Did you know that rabbits in the wild have their babies underground?)

GOATS…

PIGS…

DUCKS…(this is Lucky and Jasmine)

A COW…

A DONKEY…

A HORSE…

We went on a wilderness hike on the trails at the park.  Here is a picture of the boys against a huge uprooted tree from a storm.

The kids enjoyed crossing a bridge over Mackey Creek…

Awww… I miss the days when my kids were that age, but then I remember how tired I used to be – all the time. LOL.
