DEL-Auditory/Memory-I gave two-three commands and the boys had to wait one minute before executing those 2-3 commands. ‘A’ has mastered this; ‘R’ can get half right.
Character
‘Right Choices’-We read about being a responsible pet owner.
Life Skills
‘365 Manners’-We read about the distinction of being a gentleman: They:
- Hold the door for others
- Let girls go first
- Help carry heavy items
- take hat off at appropriate times (dinner table, church, bed)
- speak to the parents of friends
- no cursing
- let others leave elevator first
- help another woman take off her coat
- offer a hand to shake when introduced.
We also read about sitting and standing tall, and practiced both.
