Wow, where to begin?!
Friday evening, I attended a MOPS Steering Team retreat.
Saturday, DH and I took the boys to this new Starbucks on Snoqualmie Ridge and sat outside, enjoying our drinks and muffins. We felt like we were on vacation! I had a rehearsal for a skit I was going to be in on Sunday to promote MOPS. After that, we went to an engagement party and enjoyed a fabulous outdoor picnic.
Sunday, DH lead worship at our church, and I performed in the skit. We immediately went to a birthday party after church for a 4y.o. friend of ours. Her family rented a huge, inflatable water slide and had a slip n slide and a small pool. We also did water balloons. There was a child size Jeep that ran on a battery. ‘A’ and ‘R’ loved it and spent a good deal of time driving it around the neighborhood.
After the party, I went to a baby shower for a friend of mine who is pregnant with quadruplets. She’s at 19 weeks and was just placed on home bed rest.
Whew! I need a weekend to recoup from my weekend!
