The boys and I met my grandfather, their great-grandfather, for lunch and a walk at a nearby mall. We had a nice visit and walk. The boys got some new shoes and showed them off to everyone.

The boys and I met my grandfather, their great-grandfather, for lunch and a walk at a nearby mall. We had a nice visit and walk. The boys got some new shoes and showed them off to everyone.
Aw, they're so lucky to have a great grandfather in their lives! I miss our grandpas…..

I miss my graddaddy very much! He never met my youngest daughter, but my middle child was he apple of his eye. We were blessed to live near him and able to adjust our schooling to be with him in the final days of his life!
I wanted to go so bad, but we could not stay the extra week. Love the pictures.
