Bible
We read about David taking care of Jonathan’s son Mephibosheth; how he took the wife of one of his soldiers for his own (Bathsheba) and how, through a story that was told by a man named Nathan, David realized his wrongdoing.
Memory Verse
Exodus 20:16 "you must not tell lies"

Millo-Molly-Mandy: Chapter 2 "Milly-Molly-Mandy Finds a Peny"
We also have an activity book that revolves around the MMM story. The boys answered questions and they narrated a letter to MMM about how to take care of her duckling:
"Dear Milly-Molly-Mandy,
A: "You have to be really careful and take good care of the duckling. If you want to pet the duckling, you have to be careful.
R: "You need to be nice to the duck."
A: "You have to feed the duck and give it water. You have to always let it be with you and make it so that it will not run away."
R: "You should hug the duck."
A: You have to always keep it in its cage."
Your friends,
A and R
My niece, K, joined us after school and traced and colored Milly-Molly-Many paperdolls and paper clothes with the boys.
Language Arts
DEL-The boys had to look at a shape and pick the shape that does not match on the row. Both got all correct.
Science
BB Book of Science and Nature-We read about trees. We learned that trees are the largest and strongest plant, that the skin of the tree is called bark and some are smooth and some are rough. We learned that some trees are evergreens and others are broad leaf. We learned that the willow trees branches bend. We learned that trees get their nutrients through their roots.

Life Skills
365 Manners… We read about wearing boutonierres and corsages for special occasions, and looked up pictures online.
Math
Today was review. I had the boys count items. Both did great at counting. ‘R’ had a little struggle in counting items altogether. (ex. He counts the apples. He counts the pears. He has trouble counting apples and pears together.) They also are able to verbally give the answers, but cannot write the number yet.
Reading
‘A’ read Bob Book Set 2, Book 2 Bump!
