Taking advantage of this great weather, the boys and I went on a hike. It was such a great day for it!
Here we are at the beginning…
‘A’ being the leader (his favorite place to be)…
The warm up for the hike. Throwing rocks…
Exploring "caves"…
‘A’ loves to climb…
Pretending to be panthers…
More rock climbing…
Hooray, ‘R’! That was tough!
More "cave" exploration…
Our first break, AKA "picnic"…
They are taking turns "rescuing" each other…
More rock climbing…
Yay, A”! You did it!!
Our second "picnic"…
‘A’ helped ‘R’ climb the big rock on the way back down. I was halfway pleased he wanted to help his brother and halfway petrified that ‘R’s face was going to be implanted in the rock!
I am coming with Brandon, only. Julia has college and work so she has to stay. My mom is having surgery on Tuesday (mastectomy), I am going up to help her during some of her recovery. I won't get out much, but I do hope the weather is nice.

Wow, what a gorgeous place! I'd love to explore there- one day when we visit, you'll have to take me there. 🙂
What a nice day, Leigh! Hee-hee! Don't all children have to do the rock-throwing warm up!? That pic of R under the rock looks like he's holding it up with his back! LOL! That did look like a face plant!
Love, Alyssa
Leigh, wow this place looks beautiful! We're stuck in a lot of snow right now so that hiking looks fun. I'm ready for spring!
