For those of you who watch the news, you may have seen some footage about our area. We recently had some substantial floods that cause the local schools to close for a few days, and some families had to evacuate their homes.
We decided to bundle up and go explore. I am so glad we did! We started with a walk to our neighborhood trail along the south fork of the Snoqualmie river.
Here’s a view of "our" river. It is at least twice its size…
Then, we hopped in the car and drove to Snoqualmie Falls. I have never seen the falls this size. I thought the flooding a fews years back was bad, but this is insane!
