This road trip was full of good times with friends and family.  Our first visit was to my friend, Linda’s, house.  It was an unexpected stop to pick up something and visit for a few minutes.  We were planning on getting together for dinner later in the week, so I did not take any pictures.  Unfortunately, her kids came down with a cold and we had to cancel :(.  I am glad I got to see you and your beautiful new place,  Linda, and look forward to seeing you in our neck of the woods this winter!  The kids had a great time catching up with C1 and C2.

The next day, we went to see my Dad and stepmom.  They had just realized a long held dream of owning their own boat.  We were able to spend some time with them while the boat was still moored on Lake Union.

My Dad/Grandpa Gary, Stepmom/Grandma Julee, and Auntie DeeDee…

The interior…

My aunt and uncle also have a boat and stopped by for a visit as well.  It was wonderful to see them after such a long time.  I love you!
Grandma and Grandpa enjoying their new life…

The ‘Thorpedo’, soon to be named "Our Adventure"…

A beautiful day in Seattle.  Something to be appreciated.  Can you see the Space Needle in the background?

A view of Lake Union…

There was a sweet fountain were the boat was moored.  A large rubber ducky was floating in it…

We ended our day with a stop at Duke’s Chowder House.  This was a place that DH and I used to enjoy going to before kids.  It was nice introduucing our boys to their wonderful chowders.
