Once a month, our small group plans, cooks, and serves a meal at a Sacramento homeless shelter. This month, our day fell on Easter! David and I were in charge this month. I did not get many pictures because it was too busy, but we had a great time.
There were about 45 people. We planned for about 70, so everyone got at least seconds, and a takeaway container as well.

We had the kids sing songs during the meal, and read the Easter story out loud. We also offered communion to anyone who wanted it. We also gave the guests homemade Easter cards along with a cookie.
