This photo is a shout out to my mama.  She worked for F&N for many years.  We found this truck parked in an old gas station by SeaTac…

We spent our last night of our road trip at one of our favorite places, McMenamin’s Edgefield, just outside of Portland, OR.  It’s a fun, unique escape.  I have written about this place before.  You are welcome to run a ‘search’ if you want more info on it.

The door to our room.  Calbert Mcduff was an African American orderly when this place was an home for the elderly.  No one sat with him on his first day, but his personality won them over.  He worked for the home for over 30 years until his retirement.

Strolling the grounds…

The soaking pool.  102 degrees of delight.  The item behind the boys are showers that are activated by pulling a chain…

Dinner at the Black Rabbit.  The boys did not like the mac and cheese.  Too gourmet…
