What better way than to while away a summer day swiming with friends? A group of us spent an afternoon on Lake Natomas!
We are very fortunate to have access to a beach that is maintained by the Sac State Aquatic Center. You can rent kayaks, canoes, catamarans, aquacycles, etc. , or you can just enjoy their beach for free. They also loan out life jackets.
There is a small arm of the lake where you can swim to the other side. The other side is a state park. The kids spent most of their time over there, within eyesight of the moms, yet oh – so far away!
