Here are a few of the questions that were provided during a marriage retreat followup “date night” with the Bradleys. We asked these questions to our spouses and shared answers. I picked a few to ask the boys:
1) What is your favorite vacation spot?
A: HAWAII> No question.
R: Hawaii, but also the Redwoods.
2)If you were stranded on a deserted island, what 5 things would you want to have with you?
Both yelled, “COCONUTS” simultaneously….
A: coconuts, a boat, my mom, my dad, and our cat Chelan (he added ‘R’ after ‘R’ didn’t add him on his list and he was upset over that)
R: boat, our cat Chelan, cherries, mom, dad, and ‘A’
3)If you could go back in time and undo one thing that you have done, what would it be?
A: When I broke my collarbone, I did not swim in the lake. If I were to go back, I’d swim. (When I suggested he choose not to break his collarbone, he responded, “no, I am glad I broke it, I just should have swam when I had the chance.”

4)If you could give super powers to your brother, what would they be?
A: To be any place at any time he wanted; to be multiple places at the same time.
R: To fly
5) Name 3 things that you think is most important to your brother
A: His mom, dad, and guitar
R: His parents, his cat, and God
6)What would you like to be on your tombstone?
A: I’m not going to have one; I’m going to be cremated.
R: I’m going to be cremated, but if I could I would choose to have a gold cup and writing that said something, and maybe one of my favorite books on it”
7)If you were given a million dollars and had to spend it on yourself, what would you buy?
A:I would buy a car and then ask to get my drivers license, the I would make myself look taller, and get a fake beard and glasses to look like a grownup.
R: Get a car to use when I’m grown up and maybe some Lego sets…
A: I’d get some Legos too.
8)If you could meet any three people in history, who might they be?
A: Jesus, George Washington, Peter from the Bible
R: Alexander the Great, Jesus, Julius Caesar (can you guess what we’ve been learning about?)
9)What do you feel like you’ve accomplished in your life?
A: Part of a never ending journey…
R: Martial arts testing for belts
10)What would you like to accomplish before you die?
A: Go farther into the journey
R: Getting my black belt
