For every 10 animals our cat kills, we might be able to save one. This little one was rescued by ‘A’ who managed to get the bird from our cat’s paws in time. He was pretty stunned, and it was unclear if it had internal injuries or not. We placed him in the box and once he regained consciousness, it was clear he could not fly. I was not sure if he was too young to fly, or if he was injured.
Fortunately, we have a wonderful wild animal rescue nearby and was able to take the bird there.
