I belong to a wonderful running club, Moms Run This Town/She Runs This Town. It is actually a national organization with local chapters. I can go anywhere and connect with other women to run.
Belonging to this group has helped with motivation, inspiration, encouragement, and accountability. There are multiple neighborhood runs everyday to choose from. You just need to find your pace, and preferred time to run.
They recently hosted a ‘Buddy Run’. This was a run to help get the new women plugged in. All new runners are teamed up with a veteran MRTT runner. They had chalk art along the way, as well as cheerleaders, and a photo scavenger hunt! Coffee and goodies at the end. A wonderful morning!
