I had to fly out of Portland early one morning, so David and I decided to drive in the night before and have a date night in Portland, then spend the night at a hotel close to the airport. He would then drive home the next day. We went to this amazing Spanish Tapas restaurant called Urdaneta. Everything was delicious and coupled with a summer evening walk in the Alberta Arts district, it made for a really nice date night.
