Alex and I heard that there was a deceased whale washed up on one of the nearby beaches. We decided to track it down. I chose not to post photos here, but it was of a 44 foot juvenile gray whale, and there are photos in this article about it… article. After paying our respects, we went to Fish Peddler-Pacific Seafoods for oysters, and discovered how hot horseradish can be!
