These are pictures from Christmas day.  ‘R’ woke up with the flu and felt miserable.  Poor baby.  Here they are opening their stocking (their first stocking ever!)

Enjoying their present from us.  Viewfinders!

DH and ‘R’ stayed home while ‘A’ and I visited family.  We met up with my mom at the nursing gome and visited my Grandmother.

Then, we went to my aunt and uncles house.  My cousins were there, as well as my brother, SIL, and nieces.

Every year, we buy presents for the kids, then draw names for the adults.  This year,  we bought presents for the kids, then, instead of buying presents for each other, we hosted a family in need.  However, we also play a dice game!  There is a table of small gifts that we all bring, and another pile for the kids (divided girls and boys).  Everyone gathers around the table.  Each person takes a turn rolling.  If you roll a double you get a present, if you roll double sixes you get to go again.  You can pick from the pile or you can steal from someone else.  A "hot" present can only be stolen three times before it is frozen.  My brother and SIL tagged teamed to get some neat items.  We used to set a timer, but this time aroun we just played until all the presents were taken.

To answer your question, yes, I've started school again, but it has been a really slow start, and we are already so far behind! I hope it picks up soon!
