‘R’ stayed home with Daddy, but ‘A’ and I joined my Dad and stepmom, brother and nieces for the Spring Fair in Puyallup.  I love attending this fair!  It has all the same elements of the big one in September, but it is half the size and much more manageable.  We all had a great time and were blessed that there was no signifcant rain. Thanks to my Dad for taking many of these pictures!

KidsZone had a reptile fair.  Here are ‘A’ and I  touching a pregnant Kenyan Sand Boa.  Apparently, these snakes give live birth and we could feel the babies squirming inside.  It was incredible!  (It was even more incredible that I was able to shake my fear of snakes and let the curiosity win.)

‘A’ making friends…

On to the furry animals…My niece, ‘K’, is crazy for animals.  We saw some ‘dancing horses’, a part of the Fiesta Mexicana show, but they unfortunately did not have horses to show (at least we did not find them.)  No pigs, either…

But, they did have goats.  I love pygmy goats!!  If I had land, I would love to have some pygmy goats.  Here is a kid who climbed up on his mama..

I also love bees (and honey).  I would love to have a small hive if we ever have land.  What an awesome learning opportunity for the boys.  Here is ‘A’ standing next to a sample hive.

The Rides
Oh, the rides!  We all enjoyed our share of rides (well, almost all…Grandma…

Here is ‘K’ and ‘A’ in a type of playland:

My brother and the kids on a twirling bear ride:

‘K’ going head first down the Super Slide….she’s crazy! (The guys had just sprayed down the slide with some sort of oil.  She cruised!)

This was ‘A’s favorite ride.  He loved shooting the gun that "only made noise, but did not shoot anything":

This is a neat shot that my Dad caught of me and my stepmom, with ‘A’ waving in the background.  That carousel was going pretty fast, so to catch this was impressive.

Extreme Scream
My Dad, brother, and I went on a ride called "Extreme Scream."  I will let the pictures speak for themselves. (Great pics, Grandma and ‘P’, thanks!)

Thanks, guys, for sharing that with me.  That was a blast!!  I love ya!!

It was a full, fun day!  We look forward to doing it again with a healthy ‘R’ and DH!
