Well, let me tell you…
On Saturday, DH and ‘R’ worked in the yard, while ‘A’ and tackled the house. We worked for about six hours!
The boys and I made a butterfly mobile for Ant-e Sara. (Note to self: don’t ever do a craft that requires shaving crayons again. However, if you absolutely have to, remember that a little goes a long way…)
Grandma Margaret and Grandpa Randy drove from Idaho and spent two nights with us. On Saturday night, we got together with Dado and Dada in honor of Ant-e Sara’s birthday (her friend, Kami, joined us. We met at a terrific Italian pizzeria called Tutta Bella. Their pizza is so yummy!
Sunday, we drove to a small town called Little Rock and attended a mini-family reunion for Grandma Margaret’s side of the family. Three families from the same family live on parcels of about 32 acres. The family that hosted our get together lived on six of the acres and had a horse farm. Beautiful home, beautiful farm, beautiful view, beautiful family…the boys had a blast and hated to leave!
Our gracious hosts…
Their fabulous view…
‘A’ in heaven, riding Penny the pony…
‘C.C’ the cat, getting close to (I think that’s ‘Harold’….)
Our hosts had some darling Boston Terriers. I love these dogs!
‘R’ and ‘A’ together…
‘Dottie’ was exhausted from all the activity….
Monday, DH and I made a big breakfast before Grandma and Grandpa left. Shortly after, DH fell ill to the cold. We laid low for the rest of the day, watching movies, with a little bit of school thrown in.
I am glad you had a great weekend. I keep looking at folks in the backgrouding, wondering if I'll see some one I know.. Where is that italian place, located?. Only place I've ever eaten in in your town is Perkins. At least I think that's still Perkins behind the gas station by the mall…??? That's where I would meet my dad if we were dropping off grandkids on their way the other side of the mountains.
