‘Children’s Everyday Bible’-Joseph interpreted the dreams of the fellow prisoners

Memory Verse
2 Cor 9:7 "God loves a cheerful giver."

Read Aloud

Language Arts
‘Developing the Early Learner’-
Comprehension/Sequence-I showed the boys two pictures and they had to say which action came first (baby crawling or standing, cake baked or eaten, bird chirping or eggs, unsharpened pencil or almost used up…) ‘A’ did great; ‘R’ caught on once he saw ‘A’ doing it.

Science
‘Berenstain Bears Book of Science’-We read about the wind and how it is used to sail boats, fly paper planes.  A soft wind is called a ‘breeze’, a strong wind, a ‘gale’, and a super strong wind, a ‘tornado’.  We looked up pictures of tornadoes online.

Character
‘365 Manners…’Leaving the Table Early-If you need to leave the table in an emergency, you can without saying anything.  If it is urgent, but not an emergency, you say ‘excuse me, please’, then get up.  Otherwise, you stay at the table while the gust is still seated and/or everyone else is still eating.

‘Right Choices’-We read that it is wrong to get angry if you lose a game.  Do not throw the game pieces, and if you do get angry, ask for forgiveness.

Math
Singapore Earlybird 1A-Lesson 12-The boys were introduced to rows and columns and had to count the items in each column and record the answer in a box.
