The day we left for Chelan, a butterfly emerged from its chrysalid. Since we were going out of town, I had a friend take the butterfly hut. I did not want everyone to miss the butterflies. All made the change, except two have emerged with misshapen wings. I don’t think they will make it. They are going through the sugar water quickly, and are getting busy "getting busy". I think we will let them out in a few days. They only live a total of three weeks, so I’d like for them to enjoy the great outdoors for a while.
How exciting! I didn't know they only live for 3 weeks!
