DEL- Motor Skills-The boys practiced with dot to dot, making ovals, triangles, rectangles, squares
Science
Berenstain Bear’s Book of Science and Nature-We read that Christmas falls on December 25th and that New Years Eve December 31st.
Character
Right Choices-We read about how it is wrong to watch TV that has bad things on it. We are to keep our eyes from these things.
Life Skills
365 Manners…We read that is is wrong to eat ice. Not only does it sound bad, but it could be bad for our teeth. Ice is used to cool drinks. It is not OK to reach in an pull ice out with your hands. It is also not OK to cool your soup with ice or rub ice on your face to cool down. (Well, we have broken all of these rule in our family many times over :))
The boys helped me make our soup for dinner tonight. Here is ‘Emeril’ and ‘Top Chef’. They used a veggie peeler for a few second, transferred ingredients to cups, then the soup pot, and served as master taste testers..
Math
Singapore Earlybird 1B-Lesson 6: ‘A’ worked on writing out the numbers 9 and 10. ‘R’ colored different shapes.
Reading
We played a game and I quizzed the boys on lowercase letters. ‘R’ got a few wrong, but both are doing well with letter recognition and sounds.
They look like they are having a great time.

Your boys are so much fun!
Quick question… how do I add lists to the side of my page (such as books we are reading)? I checked the help menu and could not find out how.
Oh no! My son is a ice eater BIG TIME!
The boys look like they are having a blast! What do you use instead of 100 EZ lessons? My other two girls didn't finish the book — we switched to Explode the Code workbooks after about lesson 42. I ordered Leap Frog Letter Factory for my 4 year old as a supplement. I just don't want writing to get in the way of reading. : )
Mighty cute taste testers if you ask me. 🙂 I get such satisfaction when my children watch me cook! I can see how fascinated they are and I'm praying they soak it in and really get a love for it. Eating is a necessity, so cooking is crucial- no one can live well on junk food. 🙂
How cute they are. Such sweet little helpers. Love the hats. Maybe I should get some for mine.
