My FIL and the boys grandfather passed away from complications due to liver failure. We are comforted to know that he did not suffer in his final days. DH was able to spend most of the last three weeks with him.

I was coming here to agree with you about the CC concert. That was one of my most favorite parts of the night. The prayers spoken by each one. I was crying; good tears, of course …. but still, yes, very powerful like you said. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as we did! ; )

I am so sorry to hear that. Even when it's expected, it's still so hard. Praying for you and your family during this time. How nice that your DH got so spend that time with him.
