How ironic is it that the one day we were all finally able to get together, it was the last day of summer and it rained… ALOT! Oh well, being the true Northwesterners that we are, we still enjoyed the zoo, while everyone else stayed away. We practically had the place to oruselves!

There is a new exhibit at the zoo that has birds from Australia. You can purchase feed sticks for $1.00 and the birds land on you to eat. It was a real treat for us all.

Wow! Those are some great pictures! I love the huge bear, the colorful birds, and the flamingoes. I guess it's been a long time since I've been to a zoo. I'd forgotten that flamingoes just aren't in picture books.
Looks like you've been having a lot of fun. Getting a cute hair cut with your friend; a shopping trip with your niece (how nice of you); and good learning in school with your kids. You are living a very rich life! Friends, family, and God. It doesn't get much better than that.

I've tried to come by sooooo many times, but at home, my direct line isn't working, it's just dial up – which translates that I can't pull everyone up that I want to.
