Our church has a neat ministry that delivers gift baskets people donate to moms living in low income housing, shelters, or were nominated to receive a basket.
Our Bible study built a basket, and the boys and I spent this morning delivering baskets to 10 moms, all living in the same housing complex. We enjoyed meeting them and their children. The moms were genuinely appreciative.
The complex we delivered to is called Serna Village. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the grounds, and the safe space for the kids to play.
