My friend Crystal was asked to speak at a President’s Circle dinner for William Jessup University. Since her husband was away on business, Crystal asked me to join her for moral support.
The huge hall was transformed into a lovely intimate space. They had original art work hung over the curtained walls, live evergreens, and the stage was set for a “fireside talk” with the President and First Lady.
After the dinner, Crystal and I beelined for our friend, Lori’s, birthday party. After the party, we had a great talk in the car sharing a bottle of ginger ale! We were cracking up over that, (you kind of had to be there…)
