At the end of the school year, our homeschool networks hosts an open house. It is a time when the kids can show some of the projects they created over the year, as well as share a talent they might have.
I served as Lori’s Co-Coordinator this past year. She passed the torch on to me and I am now the Coordinator for the Bayside Homeschool Network. I pray I will be able to serve the group even half as well as she had these past five years…
Talent showcase. ‘A’ and ‘J’ sang a song “One Thing Remains”. Taylor and Bailey accompanied them.
‘R’ and ‘S’ decided to go an alternative route and do the challenge, “Minute to Win It”. They challenged themselves to empty a tissue box in under a minute, using only one hand. They did it!
After the talent show, we had a graduation ceremony for those in our group that were either moving up to 9th grade, or graduating high school. The families who chose to participate cam on stage and one parent in each family spoke a blessing over their child. It was very powerful, and a few tears were shed!
Here’s the 9th grade group..
…and Jeff Pagaragan spoke a blessing over their wonderful high school graduate, Taylor…
I wish I thought to take more pictures of the project tables. There was a wonderful variety. Here is a (poor) picture of some of the boys art and Lego projects…
