Our homeschool group went on a field trip to a local art gallery. The docent did a great job of teaching the kids how to look at art with a critical eye, instead of just the casual glance. She also taught them the difference between “arts and crafts”. There was a terrific variety art pieces. […]

Out homeschool group went on a field trip to the local dump! That’s right! It actually was quite interesting. We learned that they turn methane into electricity, and that they are looking into turning garbage into auto fuel!
