Science: Cohesion

The boys did an experiment on cohesion.  They recorded how many drops of water they could get on top of a penny before it spilled over.  I think they experimented with soapy water, and something else, as well.

Williams-Sonoma Cooking Class

Our local Williams-Sonoma offers free cooking classes for the kids Saturday mornings. This is the first class the kids took.  The theme was ‘Apples’. We learned that… There are 2500 varieties of apples in the U.S., and 7000 around the world… Lemon juice helps keep the apples from turning brown.
