Five miles in the early AM with these lovely ladies, then another five trail miles with my friend Elyse. A yummy breakfast at the Flower Farm after. Elyse and I were gifted with a couple of deer at the beginning of our run. One ended up crossing right in front of us.

I love running early in the morning with friends. We could not catch a good shot, but we came across three coyotes who had cornered a hare. Our disturbance gave the hare enough time to run away. Also, we saw a pheasant in a tree!

Some of the Clover Valley Loop Ladies (the women I run with multiple times a week), made Peppermint Patties (hot cocoa and peppermint schnapps) and walked throughout the Pebble Creek neighborhood.
