Cuties

Swallows love to build their nests under the eaves of the local businesses. It is fun to watch them grow and then one day, they are gone.

Moments and memories made with those who have my heart. In order…Made Michelle’s place home base and started there. Picked up Lacey in North Bend and drove to Ellensburg for a girls weekend at Scott and Liann’s. Soaked in their pool at sunset with drinks provided by Scott…played pickleball in their backyard, shopped downtown, walked a lovely nursery, Liann made a yummy baked french toast breakfast, listened to Scott play at a house party. Drove Lacey back to North Bend and met with Heidi for an early dinner. Drove to my cousin, Terry’s, place and had some quality family time crabbing and taking the boat up to see cousin Robyn, Dan, and E’s place. Special dinner with my Uncle Bob and Auntie DeeDee. Met with friend Heather and her husband to give them a tour around Seattle. I did not get a picture of him :(. Michelle and I got together with her dad and our long time family friend, Judy, for lunch. I met with my Auntie Annie (Yaya) for a quick connect and breakfast. Michelle and I went to a ‘Singo’ night with my brother Devin and his girlfriend Kristie. Michelle oversees throwing a large birthday party once a month at a local homeless shelter for all the kids having a birthday that month. She serves through an organization called ‘Birthday Dreams’. I helped her with that month’s party. Then, we went to visit her son Ricky and Serenity, and their beautiful baby girl ‘C’. This precious time closed perfectly with breakfast with my fabulous nieces, Paige and Kaylee. This trip was good for my soul and treasured for always.

Cape Meares Hike

Meghan and I hiked Cape Meares with a local womens adventure group, ran by my friend Cami. It was a bit of a booty kicker with incline, but it was a fun day!

David and I drove to Edmonds for a quick day trip to visit my aunt and uncle. It was a sweet time to catch up. We went to dinner in downtown Edmonds. I don’t recall the name but it was really good. They had a wall that opened up to a patio. My aunt and uncle had sold their condo in Edmonds and were renting a place for the summer. No matter where she is, Annie has pots of lovely flowers.

Checking out this creative activity. Follow tutorials to create these doodles…it’s relaxing and meditative.

July 4th, 2024

David and I hosted an informal gathering for friend to watch the parade from our deck. Jules, Lisa, Matt, and Meghan joined us! Matt walked the parade with a dog/wolf mask on, you can see the picture with Austin investigating it. Later that evening, Alex and I went to the beach to watch the fireworks!
