1976 to 1984, there was a sitcom titled, ‘Three’s Company’. A man was a roommate with two other women, against the rules of the property. To bypass this, he pretends to be gay. Mr. and Mrs. Roper were the original landlords and provided comedy through their interactions with the main three characters and with each other.

Fast forward 40ish years (wait, what?) and a fun resurrgance of Mrs. Roper’s character is sweeping the nation with ‘Roper Romps’. My run buddy and friend, Shannon , joined me for a pub crawl in Sacramento with a bunch of other Mrs.Ropers! It was such a fun night! We almost talked ourselves into country line dancing later that night, but ended up just sticking with the pub crawl.

I will take Napa any time, but it is best with beloved friends/family! Overnight Napa/Sonoma trip with Jules and Lisa…

I always, always, always start a Napa wine trail at Inglenook. Reserve a table at the Bistro and enjoy the best mocha ever, and other goodies.

Lunch and a walk around the Oxbow Market, then Jules and Lisa found a gorgeous boutique inn in Sonoma for us to spend the night at The Seven Branches Inn, (our rooms were each different and equally charming. Theirs had a little deck), delicious dinner at The Girl and the Fig, and outdoor music at Murphy’s Irish Pub!

Les Mis with Stacy

I love, love, love Broadway musical productions and I enjoy attending them with others who love them as well. Stacy and I got to attend Les Miserables together and it did not disappoint! Moments and memories. Treasured moments and memories.

Girls Weekend Tahoe

An annual get together with this incredible group of women. An extended weekend at Stacy’s place in Lake Tahoe. Ebikes to Heavenly ski resort. Lunch and shopping. Dinner on Stacy’s deck. Board games. A hike to Grass Lake. Staying up late to chat. Deep talk. Giggles. Sleeping in. Precious moments and memories.
Jodi. Jane. Kelly. Stacy. Jill. Elyse. Briana. Rhonda. Heather. Leslie. Tina.

Kat and Ryan were road tripped up to Manzanita for a few days. It was wonderful having them both. We visited my favorite local nature spots, played some games, and they did day trips to Portland and then either Eugene or Salem(?)

Apple Hill with Alex

I am sooooo far behind on this blog! Wow. Well, hopefully I can get caught up. Also hope there arend duplicates. We will see. Anyway, this was a super fun day in Apple Hill with Alex. We got to check some new places and it was midweek so there was not a big crowd. We were able to really enjoy it.

First Ink

The boys got their first tattoos together! Alex’s is the origami unicorn from the film ‘Blade Runner’. Ryan’s is a gothic architecture piece.

Muttzanita 2023

This is an annual fundraiser the pet supply store Four Paws on the Beach and local community puts on for Animal Haven by The Sea. A furry ‘mayor’ is elected every year and there is an auction, games, a parade, and other activities. David walked our pups in the parade while I volunteered at the auction table. It was a fun event!

Summer Crew

I worked the summer at a lovely coffee shop to raise travel funds. It was a fun experience with an incredible crew. Glad to say they will all remain in my life in real life or through social media.

David, puppers, and I had a terrific walk that included seeing the wreck of the Peter Iredale and this gorgeous elk!
